ALUMINO
SILICATES
Principle
use: The main use of alumino silicates in the investment
casting industry is in the backup slurries and as a
backup stucco.

|
CUSTOMCOTE®
BINDER
 Principle
use: Customcote binder can be used for primary, back-up
shell coats, and with a variety of refractories.

|
DELUXCOTE®
BINDER
Principle
use: Deluxcote concentrate is new millenium technology.
Deluxcote concentrate is a backup binder uniquely formulated
to build thicker, stronger, more flexible individual
shell coats. Even with fewer backup coats, Deluxcote
binder builds a shell that is stronger than shells built
using existing specialty backup binders.

|
| FASCOTE®
BINDER & FASCOTE REFRACTORY
Principle
use: : The Fascote system can reduce shell building
time from 4-6 days for standard colloidal silica backup
materials to just one day. Shell weights can be reduced
over standard colloidal shells, resulting in more
shells produced per drum of binder and bag of refractory.
Fascote binder is formulated specifically for use
with Fascote refractory, together they offer the foundry
a variety of benefits.

|
NYACOL®
COLLOIDAL SILICA
Principle
use: This binder serves as the glue that holds the ceramic
shell together. NYACOL colloidal silica is a standard
slurry component and can be used in either primary or
backup slurries.

|
PRIMCOTE®
BINDER
 Principle
use: Primcote binder allows faster drying of primary
coats with lower humidity and/or increased air circulation.

|
| PRIMCOTE®
PLUS
Principle
use: PRIMCOTE PLUS provides extended slurry life versus
the original - with slurries lasting up to 60% longer
than the original. With improved slurry life, there
is little need to scrap an entire slurry due to issues
such as gelation.

|
RANCO-SIL
FUSED SILICA
Principle
use: RANCO-SIL fused silica is electrically fused high
purity silica. Fused silica has a low thermal conductivity
and excellent thermal shock resistance. These properties,
along with it’s low density, make it an excellent refractory
for use in a ceramic shell mold.

|
ZIRCON
Principle
use: Zircon is almost exclusively used in the primary
slurry and as a primary stucco. Because of its high
density it provides excellent flow characteristics in
a primary slurry. |
